Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer Telehealth Appointments using secure web-based software. Other secure services may also be used including Zoom, Google Meet, Apple Facetime or phone.

Services provided via Telehealth consultation remain subject to the same privacy and confidentiality as in-person consultations.

  • When a Medicare rebate is available for the service being provided to you and you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, your practitioner may provide a Medicare rebate for clinical treatment. Forensic Treatment does not qualify for Medicare rebate.

You are not eligible to receive a Medicare rebate if you attend a Telehealth conference outside of Australia.

  • We are able to provide treatment reports, once-off assessments and court attendances for court proceedings across criminal and civil jurisdictions.

If treatment reports or assessments are requested, reports or assessments prepared will not be released until such time that the fees for the reports or assessments are paid in full.

  • Unfortunately we only provide treatment to adults (18+) at this stage.

All your personal information gathered by your psychologist during the provision of psychological services to you, will not be disclosed except under exceptional circumstances (i.e. where it is subpoenaed by a court; where there is serious risk to life, health or safety to you or another person; where your prior approval has been obtained; where disclosure is required or authorised by law).
